Santa was extra generous with my kids this year. He must not read my blog. If he did, we would have found a sleighful of coal on Christmas morning. Here's some of what he left:
My older kids were so excited to come down and see their gifts, but when Maddie and Andrew started shrieking that Santa had been to their house Zack became a bit apprehensive about coming downstairs...
He totally deserved coal. Here is how Ben found Andrew and Zack's room when Zack woke up from his nap:
But, he still made out like a bandit...
We went to Ben's family's house on Christmas day and received many more generous gifts.
We went to see 'Night At the Museum' and 'Happy Feet' this week. Taking Zack to see a movie was a mistake we seem to keep making. His feet were a little too happy and his voice was a lot too loud.
Andrew was excited to receive a special birthday sombrero when we went to a restaurant over the break and he told the waiter it was his birthday. Don't you wish it was your birthday? You can't deny the joy of the sombrero...
The picture of Andrew in the sombrero over Christmas break reminds me of a story... When Maddie was two or three, she was singing 'Feliz Navidad,' but she wasn't sure of the words. Her version was, "Fleas, naughty dog!" I sort of liked it better.
Well, the Lee side is heading over here tonight at about ten for some New Years festivities.
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
