Disney Fun 2007

We LOVE Disney World. What's not to love? OK, maybe the sound of money being sucked from our pockets and into the pockets of one very rich rodent. But, other than that...

We had so much fun on our trip to Disney World. Mylie went on her own vacation and stayed in Arlington, VA with Ben's mom. From what we can tell, she had a fabulous time being doted on.

We had a great time too. We stayed at the Beach Club Disney property and could walk to Epcot and MGM. Brooke and her family went the week before we did, but we did overlap for one day and that was fun. My Dad flew in the day after Brooke left and he stayed through Maddie's birthday.

We went during the free dining promotion, which meant that we had the Disney Dining Plan added to our reservation package at no cost. So, we were able to enjoy a Table Service, Counter Service and snack on Disney for each person and each night of our stay.

We also went to Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party and that was a lot of fun, despite the fact it rained most of the time we were there.

I don't quite know what to expect from my children. We had been standing in the line for the newly refurbished Haunted Mansion ride, and about 20 minutes into the line, Maddie turns to me and loudly says, "Geez, Mom, will you pleeeeeeease stop tooting!" OK, this caught me off guard, because I had not done anything. She knew that too, it was just some obnoxious way to chase of boredom at my expense. Needless to say, we had a big talk about manners and LYING once we were back at the hotel room.

Of course, I have experienced such things before. Andrew, as a baby, had what we referred to as "man gas" and I can remember being in an elevator with my sweet two-month-old baby and a stranger. Andrew passed some extremely foul gas. I knew it was from him, but I can only imagine what the stranger must have thought. Yes, even I could scarcely believe that such a tiny creature could produce such a putrid stench.

Anyway, here are some pictures from our trip:

(How often do you get to meet the guy that captured Pinnochio?)

Maddie and Prince Charming have had a thing going the past several trips we've visited.

We attached some glow necklaces and bracelets to Maddie's hair with some clips and this is what she looked like from the back at night. She got lots of comments about it.

Here she is getting pampered at the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique on her birthday.
We always take the boys to get their hair done at the barber shop on Main Street and we let them choose whatever color gel they want for their hair. Andrew went for purple (as usual, after Ben talking him out of pink once again) and Zack for blue.
