Maddie's 7th birthday party took place on Friday September, 7th. It was the night before our crack of dawn flight to Orlando, where she would truly celebrate her 7th birthday.
For this year's party, we did a pajama party. No, not a sleep-over. A PAJAMA party. That meant a bunch of little girls coming over in their jammies, with a pillow and blanket and favorite stuffed animal, to watch some Hannah Montanna movie and eat pizza and cake.
It was a fun party, but boy who would have guessed such little girls could be so LOUD!
Of course, in my whirlwind week of planning a birthday party amidst a packing frenzy to be ready to leave for Disney World, I forgot to buy the candles to put on Maddie's birthday cake. So, we had to improvise. Nothing like blowing out a Yankee Candle at your 7th birthday party while your friends cheer you on, eh?
